Solution One: Verify Your System Date And Time

  • From the clock’s context menu, select “Adjust Date/Time”

  • To navigate to the “C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks” path location, go through Windows Explorer, and in the address bar type “C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks”.
  • Do a right-click on the QBW32.exe file to select “Properties” option
  • Then select the “Digital Signature” tab, and make sure that you select the Intuit in the signature list

  • Choose the “View Certificate” option within the open window
  • After that, you’ll need to select “Install Certificate” from the Certificate window.
  • You have to click the Next button until it displays the “Finish” tab on your Windows screen

  • Set Internet Explorer as a default browser
  • Check your computer’s date and time
  • Click twice on the time display
  • Check the current date time in the Date time settings

  • Check on automatically Detect Settings
  • Proxy servers should be blank, except if you are using one

  • Remove the following QuickBooks installation folders:-
    • C:\Program File \intuit

    • C:\Documents and Setting \All User\Application Data \Intuit
    • C:\Documents and Setting\All Users\Application Data \Common Files \Intuit
    • C:\Documents and Setting\ All Users\Documents (Shared Documents) \Intuit

Solution Three- Rename CPS Folder

  • Set up your payroll tax table.
  • Now, open My Computer and go to the file “C:\Program Files \Intuit \QuickBooks20xx \Components \Payroll \CPS”
  • The XX denotes the year of the QuickBooks version.
  • Once that’s done, the CPS folder should be renamed to CP SOLD.
  • Check that the issue is resolved or not.
  • Verify that your payroll tax table is still up to date and not experiencing errors.
